Equine Massage Treatments
Equine Sports Massage
is primarily
targeted at horses that regularly take part in sporting events.
For example race horses, show jumpers, polo ponies and eventing
horses benefit greatly from this treatment. The equine sports
massage techniques applied to the horse relax muscle spasms, aid
rest and relaxation and improve recovery times after hard
workouts. Used during training plus pre and post competition,
equine sports massage keeps muscles healthy, maintains strength
and suppleness and may give you that slight edge over the
competition. It can also help to enhance the general well being
of the horse and improve performance. If you would like more

Equine Massage can benefit a wide rage of horses. Whether
it's your treasured pony, a race horse or a valuable show
jumper, equine massage can improve performance as well as
therapeutically enhance the general well being of your horse.
Many behavioural problems may be caused by muscular pain
and discomfort that has built up. As a horse is over sixty
percent muscle it is important to consider equine massage as a
beneficial treatment. Massage can enhance well being, release
tension and aid mental relaxation. Injured horses can also
benefit from equine massage aiding recovery and prevent wasting
of muscles.
After an initial consultation and assessment I will be able to
pinpoint problem areas on the horse. I will then carry out a
full body massage paying particular attention to the identified
areas. The treatment can take up to three hours and starts at
£45 with follow up visits charged at £45 per hour. For the
treatments to be fully effective I recommend a course of three
to four visits. Veterinary consent is required. If you would
